Making giant post card to our New King! made by children that live in the Netherlands and study Japanese.
Sunday 2 June 2013, Art Collective Home-Work organized a workshop for the kids from Terakoya at the Lloyd Hotel & Culture Embassy. They created a card about their lives in the Netherlands seen from children who have Japanese / Netherlands both background, about who they are and what they like about Japan.
The card will posted to our new king Willem-Alexander and queen Maxima.
The workshop finished successfully, thanks a lot for all of you!
It was a wonderful experience, so much power and energy!
We got today a very special guest who joined our LLOYD POST project, Risja Steeghs!
Risja, who is infected with Lyme disease, and Lilith (photographer) has one aim in mind: to draw attention to Lyme disease and to gather ways and means enabling research resulting in the improvement of methods for treating Lyme disease through international cooperation between doctors and scientists. Art is the vehicle of this ambition.
Her exhibition -Risja, a story by Lilith- opens from June 1 at Amsterdam Outsider Art, Nieuwe Keizersgracht 1a 1018 DR Amsterdam.
Jeroen Timmer created a subjective map around Lloyd Hotel!
A special map, made by thirteen neighbors with their personal view.
You will soon see the result at this blog and 8 june at the finisage!
